Misa Narrates goes to The A1

In South Africa's creative arts scene, 2017 is aptly called the "Year of Collaboration". At the start of the year, I promised myself to one day work with The A1 TV. As of last week I accomplished my goal!

My first encounter

A lasting tradition I have maintained while living in South Africa is Thanksgiving. Instead of only family at our dinner table, often times Thanksgiving and Christmas have been celebrated with the friends I've made in college as well.Last Thanksgiving, while my mother and I were preparing dinner, I stumbled across her watching The A1 TV on YouTube, and I've been subscribed ever since. The A1 TV is a digital content outlet for everything entertainment in South Africa. Thanks to recognizing TJ Ngoma, a regular host on the channel, at the Salt River train station on my way to campus, I can call him a friend today.

Filming on The A1

I have TJ, aka The Baddest Birl, to thank for meeting the wonder woman behind The A1, Moyin Oloruntoba! With her channel currently home to close to 5,000 subscribers and having almost 1,5 million views, she is all that and a bag of chips.Catch the most recent Best & Worst Dressed videos below! Don't forget to like & subscribe to The A1 on YouTube! https://youtu.be/XsaXzS279aA?list=PLDZVwIX0937lJ1FN2UM1yK6y4YOll2jhwhttps://youtu.be/dGL5yl93J3o?list=PLDZVwIX0937lJ1FN2UM1yK6y4YOll2jhw
