Mission

As a multidisciplinary creative artist, I believe writers are the custodians of human history and understanding. For this reason, it is my mission to engage in journalism as a considerate observer, curator, and contributor to our collective consciousness as it relates to the creative arts, its sociopolitical implications, and its historiography.

News organizations are often perceived to have no obligation to the ethical tenets of journalism. In many ways, they act like this through their tolerance and encouragement of unscrupulous information gathering and disinformation dissemination. Above my work as a writer, it is my mission to found and support news organizations throughout Africa and its diaspora that prioritize the importance of ethical and subject-focused journalism.
